This is a four day, three night camp at our Peterson Bay Field Station for 8th-11th grade students during the 2026-27 school year. Camp begins Friday after school and returns Monday afternoon. The camp includes time on the beach, hiking, games, art, time outside, and possibly kayaking. This camp is a great oppertunity to make new friends and explore with other teens before the school year gets busy. The camp is open to all students who will be in 8th-11th grade and are 13-17 years old.

A detailed itinerary will be sent by the Camp Coordinator in the weeks leading up to departure.

A detailed packing list will be included in your confirmation email. At minimum, your child will need to bring a clothing, toiletries, sleeping bag, rain gear, good walking shoes, a water bottle, and a day pack. If you do not have these items, sleeping bags, boots, rain gear can be borrowed.

To allow for all students to be able to take part in the camp regardless of financial ability, the camp is offered at with two costs: full cost, and a low cost option. Additional full and partial scholarships are available, please see our scholarship page to apply.

For students traveling from off the road system transportation to and from Homer can also be provided. 

Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to your registered session's start will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made 15-29 days prior to the start date will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations made 14 days or fewer prior to the start date do not receive a refund.

If you cancel your reservation, that spot will be offered to someone on our waitlist. We do not accept recommendations as to who should fill your cancellation.

Sudden Camp Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel due to an emergency or the participant cannot stay for the full camp after the camp has already started, please contact us and we can discuss options around a partial refund. Examples include but are not limited to: family medical emergency, participant experiences an illness and needs to go home, camp cannot meet pre-disclosed participants behavioral health needs. This Sudden Camp Cancellation Policy does not apply when there is a violation to our Behavior Policy, section “Right to Revoke Access.”
